Meet the Graduate
Meet Christine, a San Jose State University Class of 2021 graduate! Christine will be graduating with a degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Inclusive Physical Activity in Communities (IPAC)! Christine is originally from Apple Valley, California, a large town of about 70,000 people situated in the Victor Valley area of San Bernardino County. When asked why she decided to attend SJSU, Christine answered “I chose to transfer into this university because I wanted to relocate to the Bay Area. My favorite moment during my time at SJSU was realizing how far I’ve come.”
What is your favorite thing to do in the summer?
“My favorite thing to do in the summer is to plan and go on an annual girls trip with my best friends.”
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
“Three words that best describe me are motivated, persistent, and hard-working.”
Why did you decide to take graduation photos?
“It was important for me to have my SJSU graduation pictures taken because earning my Bachelor’s degree is a part of a milestone that I have accomplished in my life.”
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish during your life?
“There are several things that I would like to accomplish in my life. One of them would have to be travel the world.”
What’s something my readers would be surprised to learn about you?
“I think the readers would be surprised to learn that I have swam with whalesharks in the Philippines.” 🦈
I love shooting SJSU graduation pictures. The campus is beautiful, and during the spring, SJSU becomes my second home. 2021 has been extremely busy with grad pictures and I am extremely grateful for that.
Christine was on time and ready to shoot. She brought a very unique and colorful SJSU Philippines Stole that I had never photographed before. It looked great in pictures. The vibrant red flowers had great contrast against her white dress.
We started our session with the ever so popular Student union glass wall. I love this location because you can control the lighting and it creates a great cool mood created with all the mirror-like glass wall. From here, we slid over and captured a few frames at the 7th street plaza. The tall, elegant looking palm trees always look great in pictures. And finally, we concluded our session by capturing some images by the quad near Tower Hall.
Below are some of my favorite SJSU graduation pictures from our session with Christine. Enjoy!
I booked my grad photos with Estrada Photos very last minute, but I was very happy with the results! Sergio is very talented with the camera, and makes you feel comfortable. Great quality, excellent professionalism, and amazing experience!Christine
